A message from the Chief of Staff

As the incoming Dosher Chief of Staff I recognize the stellar efforts of those who preceded us in serving the community here in Brunswick County. The physicians, nurses and staff who have worked here over the past 86 years have established a long relationship of trust and compassionate care for the people of Smithville township. Our mission is to continue providing this level of care and improve upon it where we can.

The present medical staff brings a level of expertise and specialization not previously seen here at Dosher, affording patients local access to care in cardiology, pulmonology, otolaryngology, gynecology, ophthalmology, urology, orthopedic and oculoplastic surgery. This is likewise reflected in the myriad of services Dosher now offers-adding a sleep lab, a wound care center and a cardiac rehab facility to the basic physical therapy/occupational therapy, lab and x-ray facilities that patients have come to rely on. Dosher physicians also provide care as ER physicians in the award-winning Emergency Department, as hospitalists in the state of the art Zukoski Patient Care Unit, and as primary care physicians in the ever-growing outpatient facilities throughout the county.

Our medical staff has more than 100 members in 20 specialties and includes members who have served proudly in the U.S. military, who have graduated from some of the top programs in the country, and who are board certified in their chosen specialty. Many of the medical staff live and are raising families here in Brunswick county. I invite you to read more about the physicians who are here to serve you at Dosher.org/Doctors. - Domenic A. Palagruto II, DO.
