Volunteering at Dosher Memorial Hospital

Extraordinary people who care

Dosher Hospital volunteers are a wonderfully diverse group of professionals, retirees, moms, dads and students from Southport and the Southeastern Brunswick County. In choosing to volunteer, they are doing something meaningful with their free time. More importantly, their service and generosity of spirit make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.

The Dosher Hospital Volunteer organization is presently made up of more than 150 volunteers from Southport and the Southeastern Brunswick County area.

The Flea Market, Gift Shop and annual fundraising efforts of the Dosher Volunteers have resulted in donations of over $1 million to Dosher Hospital. These gifts have purchased much needed equipment and furnishings and funded special hospital projects.

Dosher Hospital's Volunteers donate over 30,000 hours of annually.
