Description: This free seminar, given by Dosher Orthopedic Nurse Navigator Chelsea Beard, RN, will help patients know what to expect in several aspects of care with regard to preparing for joint replacement surgery. Become familiar with the hospital and have your questions answered by a highly experienced member of the Dosher OR team. Patients are encouraged to bring a spouse, friend or coach, especially one who will be supporting them through surgery and recovery from their total joint replacement.

Description: Dosher Memorial Hospital became the first hospital in the region to launch a robotic arm assisted joint replacement program in 2021, and since its inception, we have performed over 600 cases, using this state -of-the-art, digital innovation. On November 10th, our Mako robot will make a rare public appearance, and we invite you to be our guest when it happens! Join us in the front lobby of Dosher Hospital for door prizes, appetizers, and a greeting from our guest of honor, the Mako Robot.
