Description: This free seminar will help patients know what to expect in several aspects of care with regard to preparing for joint replacement surgery. Become familiar with the hospital and have your questions answered by a highly experienced member of the Dosher OR team. Patients are encouraged to bring a spouse, friend or coach, especially one who will be supporting them through surgery and recovery from their total joint replacement.

Event: Drive Through Food Donation Event
Location: Dosher Hospital Front Entrance
Description: Dosher Memorial Hospital, in partnership with the Brunswick Wellness Coalition (BWC), will host a drive through food donation event to benefit identified high need areas within Brunswick County. Donors may drive up to the hospital front entrance on Wednesday July 20th between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm to drop off healthy, non-perishable food items to members of hospital and BWC staff, who will coordinate distribution to local food pantries through South Brunswick PORCH and other non-profit organizations that promote access in nutritious foods. Participants are encouraged to donate foods that are low in sugar, sodium, and of whole grain variety.
