Considering whether or not to undergo a total joint replacement can be a complex decision, as well as knowing how to time it around other life events or medical procedures you may need.
Dosher's Orthopedic Nurse Navigator Chelsea Beard, RN, has designed this program to walk you through factors to weigh before scheduling your surgery, questions to ask your doctor, how to prepare for surgery, what health and lifestyle changes to make now, insights on pain management, expectations for recovery, education for caregivers, and more.
Additional speakers include Dosher’s Manager of Therapy Services, Scott Passingham, MPT, and Case Manager Ava McDonald, BSW. A recent Dosher patient who underwent a robotic arm assisted knee replacement will share her first-hand experience with our guests.
