Our goal is to prepare you for this experience and help you set expectations for a speedy recovery. We strive to make your experience as pleasant as possible. We believe an educated patient will recover quicker and get back to normal life activities. So, we're now holding patient education sessions at the hospital several afternoons per month. Please check our event calendar for listings entitled "The Total Joint Experience."
The class will help patients know what to expect in several aspects of care:
●Preparing for surgery
●The day before surgery
●The day of surgery, including pain management
●Post-op
●Discharge from the hospital
