Dosher recognized for excellence in wound care

Our clinical partner for wound care, Healogics, Inc., has named the Wound Care Center at Dosher a "Center of Distinction." This follows the department achieving a 95 percent "heal rate" for patients in 2015, announced earlier this year.

"This is a terrific accomplishment for any wound care program, but to do so during the first year in service, is remarkable," Austin Day, area vice president, Healogics, says.

"Even for a start-up operation in wound healing, we maintained a strong focus on quality of care," Carol Northup, RN, Dosher vice president and chief nursing officer, says. "This is a testament to the hard work of Wound Care Center Director John Stone and his staff."
