Dosher Announces Latest "Triple E" Recipient

Scott Whitaker, a Support Technician with the Dosher IT Department, is the most recent recipient of the hospital’s Employees Exceeding Excellence, “Triple E” award. Scott was recognized for going above and beyond his primary role and for the extra responsibilities he has taken on since joining the Dosher team in August, 2025. Scott’s nomination noted that he is a, “Pleasure to work with and exemplifies the high standards of behavior and professionalism we strive for at Dosher.” Scott is appreciated for remaining one step ahead when it comes to providing IT support to the staff while anticipating future needs and ensuring minimal interruptions to the hospital’s workflow. His nomination went onto say, “Scott’s dedication and positive attitude truly help set the bar for excellence.”

Scott is originally from Orlando, Florida and moved to Southport six years ago. He and his wife Carolynn, who is a Surgical Technologist in the Dosher OR, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in October. When Scott is not playing with his two yellow English Labs, Anna and Moose, he enjoys reading, bicycling, gardening, and kayaking. Tripe E recipients are nominated by their peers on a quarterly basis.
