Dosher Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Dosher Memorial Hospital recently announced the appointment of Ed Tusa as their Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Tusa brings 30 yearsof
operational finance leadership in the healthcare sector to Dosher, including in-depth experience with Critical Access Hospitals and non-profit healthcare across the care continuum. Mr. Tusa has served in executive positions in a variety of organizations including Hopedale Medical Center in Hopedale, IL, Marshfield Clinic Health System in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and the Mayo Clinic Health System/Cannon Falls Medical Center in Minnesota. Throughout his career, Mr. Tusa’s areas of focus have included strengthening financial viability, performance measurement and process improvement, business planning and development projects, facility planning and construction, improvements to reimbursement systems, overseeing implementation of information technology and EMP/ERP systems, and team building, as the strategic plan of the organization is advanced. Mr. Tusa holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is education focused.
A native of the upper Midwest, the majority of Mr. Tusa’s prior healthcare experience was in Minnesota, and has also held healthcare positions in Wisconsin, Illinois, Colorado, Texas, and North Carolina. Mr. Tusa is excited to be Dosher’s CFO at this time of growth and change and looks forward to working with this governing board, the Executive Team, physicians, management, and the employees of Dosher Memorial Hospital and Medical Clinics.
