Dosher Medical Records Department to Relocate to Dosher Wellness Center

In a move to further optimize patient service and streamline operations, Dosher Memorial Hospital officials have announced the relocation of the Dosher Medical Records Department.

Effective Monday August 4th, the department will be located at the Dosher Wellness Center, at 3009 Medical Plaza Lane, in Southport. Dosher is committed to a smooth transition with minimal disruption to services during the move. The relocation will require the closing of the Medical Records Department on Monday July 28th. From July 29th – August 1st, medical records requests will be accepted via telephone only, by calling 910-457-3865. Walk in service will become available again when the department reopens at the Dosher Wellness Center on August 4th.

The hours of operation for the Medical Records Department in their new location will remain the same. Patients who need to retrieve a copy of their records may visit or contact the department Monday – Friday, between 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and will need to present a photo ID for retrieval. The Dosher Wellness Center is directly adjacent to the SeaSide Gate of St. James, about 1 mile south of the Midway Road/211 Intersection. Directions are easily obtained by entering the street address or the phrase “Dosher Wellness Center” into a GPS or navigation app.
