Drive-Through Holiday Food Donation Event Set for December 10th
Release date: November 6, 2025
Dosher Memorial Hospital will host a drive-through holiday food donation event to benefit families served by the Southport-Oak Island Interchurch Fellowship (SOIICF) Food Pantry on Wednesday December 10th. Those interested in donating non-perishable foods may leave them with members of the Dosher staff who will greet vehicles outside the hospital main entrance at 924. N. Howe Street. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Holiday themed items like boxed stuffing, gravy packets, and canned cranberry sauce and vegetables are welcome, however, all non-expired, non-perishable foods are appreciated.
Over 500 pounds of food were collected at Dosher’s July food drop, and the hospital’s goal is to surpass that total to make an even greater impact. Dosher is committed not only to caring for patients within the walls of the hospital but to supporting the health and wellbeing of the entire community.
For questions about the Dosher food drive, call the office of Community Relations at 910-457-3900.
