Drive-Through Holiday Food Donation Event Set for December 3rd
Release Date - October 26, 2026
SOUTHPORT—Dosher Memorial Hospital will host a drive-through holiday food donation event to benefit families served by PORCH of South Brunswick on Thursday December 3rd. Those interested in donating non-perishable foods may leave them with members of the Dosher staff who will greet vehicles outside the hospital main entrance at 924. N. Howe Street. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Holiday themed items like boxed stuffing, gravy packets, and canned cranberry sauce and vegetables are welcome, however, all non-expired, non-perishable foods are appreciated.
Over 500 pounds of food were collected at Dosher’s July food drop, and the hospital’s goal is to surpass that total to make an even greater impact. Dosher is committed not only to caring for patients within the walls of the hospital but to supporting the health and wellbeing of the entire community.
Donations will also be accepted at Dosher’s holiday tree lighting the night before, on Wednesday December 2nd from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Staff will be on hand to collect food donations from tree lighting guests and make sure every item gets to PORCH of South Brunswick along with the rest of the food drive donations.
For questions about the Dosher food drive, call the office of Community Relations at 910-457-3900.
