All hospital services will remain open and uninterrupted.
Release date: May 14, 2026
Dosher Memorial Hospital will temporarily close portions of its parking lot on Friday June 5th and Saturday June 6th for the hospital’s annual Community Cookout.
The front parking lot area will have limited spaces available after 1:00 on Friday June 5th due to event preparations, and will be completely closed on the morning and early afternoon of Saturday June 6th. Closures will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday until approximately 3:00 pm Saturday. Patients and visitors may experience limited parking availability during this time and are encouraged to allow extra time when arriving for appointments or services.
This closure will apply to the front parking lot only, and patients and visitors are encouraged to seek parking in the Dosher overflow parking lot across from the main hospital entrance, at Fodale Ave. and N. Howe Street. A courtesy shuttle will be available to take patients and visitors from the overflow lot to the main hospital entrance on Friday until 3:00 pm and Saturday during the hours of the Community Cookout.
The Emergency Department parking area at 9th Street and N. Howe will remain open and will not be affected.
Hospital services will remain fully open and on regular schedules throughout the event.
Temporary signage and staff assistance will help direct patients and visitors to available parking areas.
