Dosher has among the lowest post-operative infection rates in the State of North Carolina, has received, has received national respiratory care quality awards, and has the distinction of full accreditation in all of its diagnostic imaging modalities.

Dosher Receives Advanced Hip and Knee Replacement Certification from DNV
Dosher recently received an Advanced Hip & Knee Replacement Certification from DNV. This certification affirms an organization's excellence in orthopedic surgery within the scope of hip and knee arthroplasty and related procedures inclusive of initial diagnostic services, surgical services, and therapies related to hip and knee replacement care.
Advanced Hip & Knee Certification informs our community that we have the resources Dosher has taken a number of measures to ensure we have the right equipment, personnel and training to exhibit excellence in orthopedic surgery within the scope of Hip and Knee Replacement, from diagnosis to treatment, education, and rehabilitation.
In 2021, Dosher took a significant step toward enhancing our orthopedics program through the implementation of robotic arm assisted surgery for both hip and knee replacement. Our robotics program, combined with a patient focused staff, and our commitment to health and safety, are all measures which have contributed to us achieving this certification
Dosher Earns ISO 9001 Quality Certification for Healthcare
Dosher Memorial Hospital has recently earned their ISO 9001:2015 certification. The ISO 9001 standard is a quality management certification which promotes adaptation of a process approach and demonstrates commitment to consistency, continual improvement, and patient satisfaction. The ISO 9001 standard for healthcare provides a model for a quality management system which focuses on the effectiveness of clinical, business, and support processes to ensure that high quality care is provided.
Dosher was awarded the certification by DNV, an independent certification, assurance and risk management provider. DNV has worked with Dosher since 2018 as their hospital's accreditation body,
which, through annual independent assessments, ensures the safety of hospitals to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs. The DNV accreditation process for hospitals is based on the ISO 9001 quality management system, with a focus on continuous improvement of quality to enhance ability to consistently deliver care that meets patient needs.

Dosher Memorial Hospital and Medical Clinics have been named 2020 Guardian of Excellence Award® winners by Press Ganey, in three separate areas.

The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have achieved the 95th percentile or above for performance in the area in which they have been recognized.
The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally-recognized symbol of achievement in health care. Presented annually, the award honors clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5% for each reporting period during the course of one year.
Dosher Wound Care Center Recognized as Center of Distinction
For the fifth year in a row, the Wound Care Center at Dosher Memorial Hospital has been recognized as a Center of Distinction. The criteria for this recognition requires achieving or exceeding outstanding clinical and operational results, including patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent and a heal rate of 92 percent in less than 28 median days to heal.
