Speech Therapy


The following services are offered through the Speech Therapy department of Dosher Memorial Hospital:

Our speech therapist will assist patients who have speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Proper eating is essential in maintaining wellness, and good communication skills help maintain social stimulation and interaction.

The therapist will help you build listening and understanding skills, verbal expression, orientation and memory skills, reasoning and problem-solving skills, swallowing, including modified barium swallow studies, voice quality, and help with alternative communication needs.
