Rad/Mammography Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging
Full-Time and PRN
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Mammography Technologist

Perform various technical activities associated with performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures; including: performing tasks involving the operation of mammographic and radiographic equipment/devices as appropriate, calculating exposure factors, preparing and setting up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if applicable and explaining procedures to patients. Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality and match them with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation on time. Provide education and training to new mammographers.
Staff members operate as one team, meeting the healthcare needs of our community. Position will rotate to general x-ray to complete other duties as assigned beyond those designated in this primary job description.
- Maintain all QA documents necessary to exceed annual FDA inspection requirements
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with registration and scheduling staff, imaging colleagues, physicians, and department heads
- Knowledge of anatomy and radiographic exposure

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Registered or Registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Mammography (ARRT-M) required.
- Registered or Registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT-R) required.

Experience:
- Documented mammography specific training (40 hours) is required
- Previous mammography experience required
