MRI Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

Summary:
The MRI/CT technologists performs MRI and computerized tomography (CT) procedures to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A MRI/CT technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the MRI / CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images following procedures and protocols set forth by the department and hospital.
Qualifications:
▪ Graduate of a formal Accredited School of Radiological Technology.
▪ Registered as a Radiological Technician by the ARRT or Registry eligible. (Must pass registry within 6 months of hire).
▪ Advanced certification as a registered MRI and CT Technologist as established by the ARRT
▪ Maintains licensure/certification through continuing education.
▪ 2-5 years previous MRI/CT and X-ray experience. Multiple
experiences/modalities preferred (ortho, neuro, body, and vascular imaging).
▪ ARRT license or ACR accreditation
▪ BLS Certified
