Laboratory- Medical Technologist - Laboratory
Full-Time (Weekends)
MT/MLT position for performing all routine and special procedures for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, including blood bank and microbiology following established standards and practices. Competence in phlebotomy required/ Generalist in lab - microbiology experience and ability to work alone.
EDUCATION:
Medical Technologist
●Bachelor's Degree required
●Registration with the Board of Registry of Medical Technologists, American Society of Clinical Technologists or equivalent preferred
Medical Laboratory Technician
●Associate's Degree required
●Registration by the Board of Registry of Medical Technologists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists preferred
Skills:
●Familiarity with regulatory standards
●Maintain strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
●Ability for rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously
●Basic mathematical ability
●Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
