Treatment Room/Infusion RN - ENDOSCOPY
PRN (as needed)
The Infusion/Treatment Registered Nurse will operate an infusion/treatment room(s) to administer on an outpatient basis infusion and treatment therapies and monitor and record results for physicians. This position will also coordinate services with the lab and other entities participating in patients’ care.
Qualifications
a. Graduate of accredited school of nursing
b. Current NC RN license or compact state
c. Current BLS and ACLS certification
d. At least 1 year of clinical infusion/treatment
experience preferred

e. Physical Requirements
f. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
g. Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching
h. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Functions of the Position (not an exhaustive list):
a. Receives patients, explains procedures, checks vital
signs and administers therapy, monitors for reactions,
and reports to the Endoscopy charge nurse and
physicians
b. Deals with emergency situations (with the hospitalist
or anesthesia) if required
c. Perform various infusions as required by physicians
orders (i.e. blood transfusions, IVIG/Privigen,
Reclast, IV antiobiotics, etc.)
