Board of Trustees

J. Arthur Dosher Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit, public, critical access hospital that operates within Smithville Township, Brunswick County, North Carolina. Governed by the Board of Trustees, it maintains facilities that include inpatient beds and medical services providing diagnosis and treatment for patients by the Medical Staff. Educational activities are designed to promote the general health of the community. It is further the goals and objectives of the Board of Trustees to comply with the North Carolina Department of Human Resources "Laws, Regulations and Procedures Applying to the Licensing of Hospitals in North Carolina," to conform to the United States Department of Health and Human Services Regulations, and the Board of Trustees is dedicated to suggestions and policies promulgated by DNV GL - Healthcare.
