Dosher Memorial Hospital Receives Advanced Hip and Knee Replacement Recertification from DNV

Dosher Memorial Hospital announced today that it was recently recertified for Advanced Hip & Knee Replacement from DNV. This certification affirms an organization’s excellence in orthopedic surgery within the scope of hip and knee arthroplasty and related procedures inclusive of initial diagnostic services, surgical services, and therapies related to hip and knee replacement care.
“Advanced Hip & Knee Certification informs our community that we have the resources and commitment to provide the best possible care for Hip and Knee replacement,” said Lynda Stanley, President and CEO of Dosher. “Our hospital has taken a number of measures to ensure we have the right equipment, personnel and training to exhibit excellence in orthopedic surgery within the scope of Hip and Knee Replacement, from diagnosis to treatment, education, and rehabilitation.”
Dosher was first certified for Hip & Knee in 2023. In 2021, Dosher took a significant step toward enhancing its orthopedics program through the implementation of robotic arm assisted surgery for hip and knee replacement. Said Stanley, “Our robotics program, combined with a patient focused staff, and our commitment to health and safety, are all measures which have contributed to us achieving and maintaining this certification.”
